Missionaries of Charity

"If each one of you would use the same drive you use in building your business and use it to help others - just think what a force that would be and what a difference you could make for a better world for all."
--Mother Teresa, New Delhi, 1988

The Noel Foundation-Funded Programs

Los Angeles: The Noel Foundation provides household supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, etc) for the Lynwood home for homeless mothers and their children. We also supply the food and help the sisters feed the many homeless who live under the bridges and on the streets in L.A. During the holidays The Noel Foundation purchases and distributes sleeping bags, warm gloves and hats to the homeless in Los Angeles and surrounding areas as well as San Francisco. We also supply canned and packaged food and staples to poor families living in the Lynwood area.

Rosarito Home/Mexico: The Noel Foundation facilitated the acquisition of land from the Mexican government, funded and supervised the building of the home for men and women who are dying from AIDS, and the children they leave behind who most often are also infected. Currently terminal tuberculosis patients are also being cared for at the home. The Noel Foundation provides ongoing funding to help the sisters with operational needs and provides pillows/bedding and household supplies.

3 Homes in Tijuana Mexico

The Noel Foundation provides household supplies for this home for abandoned elderly men and women and toys & food during the holidays for poor families in the area.

The Noel Foundation provides household supplies to help care for women (most with serious disabilities) who have been abandoned on the streets of Tijuana.

The Noel Foundation provides diapers and treats for the babies and small children who are orphaned and/or left for care by poor single working mothers.

San Francisco Home: The Noel Foundation provides buses to take men from the local soup kitchens for outings at state parks. This is most often the only opportunity these men have of experiencing something outside of the hardships of their daily lives.
